September Favourites

It’s been a while since I’ve done a favourites post and I always enjoy reading other people’s, so here are the products I’ve loved using the most over the last month…

Sep Faves

This is an edited selection as my pile of favourites was quite large this month, but the others will appear here very soon!

I’m going to try to keep this brief (don’t laugh - I really am!)

Renu Soft Touch Toner is not toner as we know it… I’ve always found toners a bit drying but this one adds moisture via Sodium Hyaluronate,Vitamin C & B5, as well as soothing Aloe Vera.  Warm a couple of pumps between palms and press onto skin = morning bliss.

Naked Skin Blinkin’ Lovely is officially my new favourite eye makeup remover.  Liquid formula, gentle and refreshing, cheap as chips and it works. ’Nuff said. I reviewed it in detail here.

New CID i-glow ice pop

Badger Balm Cuticle Care lives beside me, usually at my bedside or in the car.  This organic balm is packed with shea butter and one of the best cuticle conditioners I’ve tried. The little tin is super cute and very portable (slightly smaller than Vaseline) and the lid is very secure, so no need to worry about leakage.  Geranium, Lemongrass, Ginger & Rosemary are among the oils it contains - amazing value for the quality.

New CID i-glow in Ice Pop has already been introduced in a recent post and has been on my cheeks most days this month.  It’s just ridiculously pretty - the loveliest pinky peach and a little goes a long way - I can see this featuring a lot over Winter months when a soft coloured blush is in favour.

eos lipbalm is just the best I’ve ever tried (closely contending with Clarins rose one in a tube). This one is Tangerine and is packed with amazing ingredients, previously reviewed in detail here. (Not to be confused with the newer balmi, which looks almost identical. Don’t judge a book by its cover and all that…).  I’ve heard lots of people say they can’t find EOS in the UK - I got mine from CutECOsmetics and will def pick up another flavour this Winter.

NATorigin Mascara - available in 4 shades, mine is a rich dark brown and perfect for a natural daytime look yet totally buildable for evening glamour. I reviewed it recently here, along with the lipstick which has been on my lips a lot lately too.

New CID foundation has also been seeing a lot of love… as my Winter pallor sets in, I may need to pick up a lighter shade, but the finish is just gorgeous - velvety, radiant medium coverage that lasts all day on me. I’m wearing it in this post.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush is everything everyone said it would be and totally lives up to its hype! Super soft for applying foundation and would also work with blush. I bought it as part of a set, which I’ll review properly soon.  I loved the Stippling Brush from the same range before I got this, but it’s been blown out of the water by Buffy!

Lyn Harris for M&S La Poudree is last but not least… a pretty, powdery, feminine fragrance that gives me that feel good factor every time I spritz. (Full review) Am going to pick up one of the men’s for my Mr this week (fear not, I can write this in the safe knowledge that he does not read my blog!).

At least 3 other products have popped into my head which really ought to have been included here… including a gorgeous hair product and hand cream… promise to tell you about them soon!

What have you enjoyed using this month?
