I adore Helen Mirren’s style and was immediately WOWed by her pretty pink hair at the BAFTAs, which the world and its wife seem to be talking about today. If she was twenty years younger would it be such a big deal? I seriously doubt it…
Helen carried it off this look by keeping everything else soft and feminine, with an elegant floor length gown, luscious lashes and a pink lip. Looking closely, her hair colour actually appears to be a mix of lilac, silver and pink, which I think flatter her skintone beautifully.
Her colourist for the evening - Jessie Knight, Senior Colourist at John Frieda said the look was “totally Helen’s idea… we went for a soft pastel pink which worked really well with Helen’s naturally soft skin tone.”
Go Helen and well done on turning a good look into a stunning look… may the blue rinse brigade follow!
