Mavala Pastel Nudes: Rose Dust, Vitality & Khaki Vintage

Mavala Rose Dust, Vitality & Khaki Vintage

Anyone else feel the urge to chuck all the glitter out the window come 2nd Jan?  I’m like a magpie up until that point and then have a sudden (temporary) urge to go au naturel - on my nails at least!

I love these three little Mavala pastels which make lovely alternatives to the usual nude shades…

Mavala Pastels

  • Rose Dust is an ever so slight pink toned dusty beige that looks prettier than most to my eye.
  • Vitality is much paler than I’d normally go for, a slightly ethereal whitened pink, or pastel mauve - something about the tone makes it wearable even on my pale skin, though I do think darker skins would flatter it even more.
  • Khaki Vintage isn’t really khaki at all, but a delicate pale metallic sage green.

Mavala Rose Dust #164

Rose Dust is my favourite of the three - I think it’s very chic and sophisticated and has a gorgeous sheen.  The formula is quite fine and lovely to apply.

Mavala Nail Polish

Couldn’t resist sharing how well they match my new scarf - it’s from Zara and has a lovely soft pink bird print that you can’t see here.

Anyone else leaning towards the nude au naturel look these days - or are you still sporting glitter, vampy darks & jewel tones?
