Monu Instant Radiance Brightening Boost Serum: New Launch

Monu Instant Radiance Brightening Boost

I was introduced to Monu by skincare guru, Caroline Hirons and have loved using some products from the range.  I was very honoured when the brand invited me to participate in a Preview Panel, which means I get to trial and provide feedback on new products before they hit the market - exciting!  I’ve already mentioned the Renu Toner {here, part of the Monu line} and will tell you about some other favourites again, but today is all about Instant Radiance Brightening Boost, which launches today.

This is a serum designed for application below your moisturiser, which as the name suggest, brightens and revitalises the skin.  I’ve been using it every day for the past two weeks and while it’s too early to assess longterm effects, I’m absolutely loving both the texture and the instant boost this gives my skin.

The Claims

Brightening Boost claims to help even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of age spots, sun damage & wrinkle depth and increase skin health and vitality.

The Actives

• Vitamin C and Niacin amide
• Wild Yam Root Extract
• Anemarrhena Extract
• Hyaluronic Filling Spheres

NB The first 3 actives are anti-inflammatories according to my research!

The Benefits

•Reduces sun damage
•Combats ageing
•Plumps up the skin to smooth lines, wrinkles & imperfections

I love the feel of this product on my skin - it smells slightly citrusy, feels really refreshing and its light texture sinks in quickly.  Any slight tackiness disappears in about 30 seconds, making it a great makeup base.  Like I say, it’s too early to tell if its optimistic claims will materialise, but it does add instant luminosity, which helps my tired morning skin and I’ve noticed a slight decrease in the little bumps I tend to get just below my skin’s surface.

Monu Brightening Boost costs £19.95 at monushop
