Let's Get Tropical!

Pink and coral has long been my favourite colour combo - and while it's made my heart race to see it creeping into fashion I'm a teensy bit gutted that it's everywhere now - as if what was once special is now 'de rigeur'! Daft I know - I'm over it already and still in love - as you can see by the pretty colours on my nails.

Revlon Tropical Temptation and Fuschia Fever

I think Revlon's Tropical Temptation is the most perfect coral I've come across - it's such a definite coral while still quite soft - and have been wanting it forever. I finally got around to purchasing today and since Revlon polishes were on 2 for £8 at Boots it seemed rude not to choose another (normally around £6.50 each). I've been on the lookout for a hot pink so Fuschia Fever leapt out at me - easy decision! (Plus I got a £5 Boots No7 & £5 off selected fragrances voucher!)

These cream polishes are thick, glossy, highly pigmented and apply beautifully. I've photographed them with two coats and no topcoat and don't actually intend to wear them together though I do think they look quite cute like this!

I hope these gorgeous tropical shades help lure you into summer mode in time for this week's heatwave!  Please let me know your thoughts in the comment box below - I love to hear from you! x
