Natural Beauty Favourites

As I know many of you are natural beauty fans, I’ve done a round up on the natural products I’ve been enjoying lately. I didn’t realise quite how many had made it into my regular routine until I started to gather them up from my bathroom, dressing table and desk (I’ll explain that one in a minute!). Most are skincare with a couple of hair products thrown in for good measure - I’ve noted in brackets how often I use each one.

1. Urban Veda Radiance Exfoliating Polish - I’m normally a fan of chemical exfoliants but sometimes skin needs a leg up - and if you want to exfoliate gently but thoroughly, this is the one. Thick and creamy with fine pumice, it smells heavenly and leaves my skin baby soft. {once a week}

2. Antonia Burrell Forest Dew Skin Conditioner - I had a proper stop-in-my-tracks morning mirror moment a week into using this (rare = understatement of the year). My skin looks more velvety, finer in texture and just… better. I don’t ever want to run out! Pricey but available in small bottles like mine, it has a watery consistency which I press into skin (not willing to waste any on a cotton pad) {morning & evening after cleansing}

3. Aromatherapy Associates Soothing Face Oil - this is such a comforting step in my skincare routine, thanks to the soothing powers of camomile and evening primrose oils. A couple of drops pre-moisturiser adds extra nourishment, helps calm my redness and eases dry patches. {3-4 nights a week, pre-moisturiser}

4. Pur Minerals MMC Antioxidant/Anti-Aging Moisturiser - packed with plant-based ingredients, vitamins & antioxidants, this cream feels light and refreshing on my skin, meaning no sticky residue and a perfect base for make-up. I may use a heavier night cream mid-Winter, but for now my skin is loving this. ps my pic doesn’t do the beaut spherical jar justice! {morning and evening}

5. Original Mineral Frizzy Logic Shine Serum - how great is this name?! Packed with Australian Argan and Macadamia Oils, a couple of drops of this serum through lengths is the final step in my hair routine to reduce frizz and make me less poodle-like. {on freshly blow dried hair}

6. Uriage Eau Thermale is my newest deskside friend. This is one of the finest, most hydrating mists I’ve tried, making it perfect for keeping up moisture levels throughout the day without leaving me a sopping mess. Also great for my occasional rosaceous flare ups. {daily, as needed}

7. Zkin Hydrating Mist does a similar job to the Uriage with added benefits thanks to soothing organic actives and Aloe Vera. I keep this in the bathroom and use it as a morning wake-up call or at night as the first step of my routine. It leaves a slight tackiness on my skin so I prefer to avoid pre-make-up.

8. Weleda Oat Replenishing Treatment is a rich 10 minute mask for dry and damaged hair. Made with organic coconut oil, shea butter and jojoba, its creamy formula smells gorgeous and leaves my hair feeling extra soft without weighing it down.
