Paul & Joe’s Summer 2013 Collection includes some of the prettiest make-up of the season - and this leopard patterned Pressed Powder compact is the hero product. Finely textured, it brightens the skin with a gentle glow, creating a soft focus, light diffusing effect, while absorbing any excess oil.
The pretty, embossed powder contains SPF20 and while I wouldn’t rely on it exclusively for sun protection, it’s good to know that it can be swept on to provide a little top up throughout the day. Available in two shades, I was sent Summer Sand 004, a natural beige with barely perceptible gold pearl particles. It also comes in Beach Baby Pink 003, with fine silver pearl particles.

It looks super pale here, but really it’s quite translucent. I’ve swatched it quite heavily on my arm to give you an idea of texture; note the fineness and lack of fall out on the finger swatch.
