NYC Chelsea Quick Dry Nail Polish is the most exquisite rich ruby red with a gorgeous glimmer that makes me feel uber glam and a little bit diva! If you decanted this into a Dior/ OPI/ Nubar bottle and gave it to me to apply, I wouldn’t bat an eyelid as the quality is right up there. Except NYC polishes are less than £2.
See how gorgeously it gleams in the light? It’s not metallic… I can’t think of the correct term, (anyone??) but it has depth, a shimmer within, which makes it look really classy.
Above, Chelsea flanked by Backstage Brown, left and Full Metal Jacket, right. Backstage Brown is actually a coppery bronze that doesn’t really flatter my skintone, but is a lovely shade and works well for nail art. I think it would flatter warmer or darker skintones beautifully. Full Metal Jacket is just glorious in both colour and formula - a cool, pale classy gold that applies seamlessly - love it.
A shameful swatch, down to my poor photography skills. Can anyone tell me why my camera flash drains/overexposes like this… or do I need to finally read the manual? Lord only knows where that is… Anyway I hope this pic gives you some idea of the colours!
