I’ve been meaning to write about my beautiful Yaelle Digital Fish Scarf for such a long time. Some of you asked about it as I wore it in the makeup look for my previous post, which gave me the nudge to finally post about it.
I love accessories just as much as beauty products and have a particular weakness for scarves and handbags, so if you like this kind of post I may include the occasional one on my favourite items.
YAELLE is a luxury, UK designer who creates some of the most beautiful hand drawn silk scarves I’ve ever seen. I was lucky enough to win this one and would love to add more to my collection as the designs are so individual and striking they will never date. Many of the scarves are finished with a gold filigree Hamsa Hand, which both looks pretty and acts like a little weight, helping the scarf to hang nicely. It looks particularly pretty on the square scarves, which I’ll show you in a sec.
Here are some close ups of mine… the colours and detail are exquisite.
And here it is worn (excuse the serious face, had taken a zillion pics to try & capture it by this point!).
It also looks really nice wrapped around once or over one shoulder with more of the pattern showing and the Hamsa hand hanging down the back. I really must get someone else to help me take pics!
Here are a few of my favourites from the website
Aren’t they just gorgeous?! I just adore the little Russian Doll designs, though the colours in the top two here are to die for.
Do have a look yourself and let me know your favourite. They don’t come cheap, starting at around 85, though they are 100% silk and the handcrafted element and unique designs makes them really special in my eyes.
